Westoe Women’s Institute is based on the Alberta Women’s Institute first formed in 1909 as an educational organization strictly non partisan, non sectarian, non political for women working together with the motto “for home and country” they aim to improve conditions: within our community, province, across Canada and the world, and to encourage women to be progressive, well informed and up to date in a modern society.
The Priddis WI meets in member homes once monthly for friendship and fun! - on the first Wednesday each month (except for July and August). The group does advance planning so that each meeting often has a guest speaker or activity. A nominal membership fee is required and the group sometimes will raise funds by providing catering services at the community Hall. New members are welcome.

phones. They can be dropped off at the post office and put
in the pail marked 'cell phone recycling'. All monies
received will go to charities.
