First Priddis Beavers/Cubs and Scout’s
Join in on the fun and be involved in team building while learning about your environment and community.
Registration is for adventurous kids 5 -13yrs old.
The program
includes camping, field trips and volunteering in the
community.
Beavers (ages 5 - 7)
This program helps to teach our youth about trying rather than
achieving, experiencing rather than winning, having fun, and sharing
with others, working together, helping family and friends.
They are planning to attend two weekend camps this year. The
beavers will also be joining the cubs with some of their activities.
Cubs (ages 8 - 10) At
this level self respect, respecting others, respect for nature and
the environment, importance of home and community, health and
fitness, focus on Canada and the world.
The cubs this year will be working on the Blue and Green Stars. They
will be learning about survival, first aid, orienteering and nature
activities. Three weekend camps have been planned with
activities of canoeing, zip line, archery, and snowshoeing,
geo-caching, and working through an obstacle course. Other
activities planned are: laser tag, go karts, ice fishing, sledding
and swimming.
Scouts (age 11- 13)
Being prepared, survival skills and outdoor training, practice
leadership skills, to relate with adults, building self confidence,
Duty to God and the environment.

There
is now a drop off for your recylable bottles at the 1st Priddis
Scouts drop-off shed at the north-west end of the Priddis Hall
parking lot. |
